Hi all,
Having some questions regarding exempting studies involving minors under category 1. I know it is allowed per the regulations, but the category doesn't define what is considered "research on regular and special education instructional strategies, and research on the effectiveness of or the comparison among instructional techniques, curricula, or classroom management methods." Does this include survey procedures? Would having students take a survey be considered an interaction and therefore it would need to be exempted under category 2? Please help!
