Keynote Speaker: Jeffrey Kahn, Ph.D., M.P.H.
Director, Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics
Dr. Kahn will explore Henrietta Lacks’ story, the history of bioethics, and what it means for the future of ethical research.
Science Speaker: Arthur “Jason” Vaught, M.D.
Director of Labor and Delivery, Johns Hopkins Hospital
Dr. Vaught will speak from a maternal health perspective on how Henrietta Lacks’ legacy connects to the ongoing work of improving care for women and families.
