You are acquainted with the basics of an IACUC program and conversant in the regulations governing the use of animals in research, but feel there’s more to learn. This interactive workshop is designed to dive deeper into key components of an animal care and use program and provide advancing IACUC professionals with a road map to successfully navigate the inevitable complexities we all encounter in animal research oversight.
Through three engaging two-hour sessions, you will expand foundational knowledge of IACUC administration. Focusing largely on what happens after IACUC approval of animal activities, we’ll help you take the next steps in developing and maintaining a successful IACUC program. You will also have the opportunity to explore real-world case studies, discuss common challenges, and gain actionable insights to support your decision-making.
